Opening paths through my garden – Art from Mark Sieczkarek

The opening brought together music, speeches, and performances by Julie Shanahan, Wigabriel Soto Eschebach, Jean Laurent Sasportes, Mihara Keizuke, Stsiapan Hurski, Anna Lisa Palmieri, Malou Airaudo, and Thusnelda Mercy.

Longtime companions of the artist shared personal insights and told stories about the essence of Sieczkarek’s fascinating art, bringing Mark Sieczkarek’s visionary work to life through performative insights drawn from their many years of collaboration, and thus paying tribute to the artist who had passed away just one month earlier.

The RitalPop ensemble from Paris, led by Roberto Graiff, also presented a unique blend of gypsy jazz, folk, and Portuguese sounds. The ensemble featured: Luc Desroy (gypsy jazz guitar), Jacques Fatus (classical guitar), Isabelle Morelli (folk guitar, clavietta, Portuguese guitar), and Chrystel Guillebeaud (lyrics).
